I often say that my medium isn't photography; it's people. I gravitate to those around me when they're most in their element, with the intent to capture them as they really are.
I've relied on natural and minimal lighting in the past. However, I'm starting to be more and more intrigued by studio + artificial lighting, and the additional creative control it brings. In a sense, I'm starting to move towards active + directorial roles in my practice.
